Medical Transcription and Technology
Debbie's "second love" is her work. She can literally eat, sleep and breathe medical transcription and is very passionate about her business. A quote from Debbie's mother:
"Sometimes I think Debbie never knows what is going on, except in her business. I was actually shocked that she knew what was going on, on September 11, 2001 when New York was under attack."
Debbie loves playing with all electronics & gadgets, and enjoys home projects. She stops dead in her tracks at the site of any of the following stores: Brookstone, Sharper Image, Best Buy, and Lowes. A quote from Debbie’s son:
"My mom is distracted by shiny objects and I don’t mean jewelry. She is a cool mom with all of this knowledge of computers and gadgets that most mom's don't have. My mom actually knows how many gigabytes of memory she wants a computer to have and what processor speeds mean. She annoyingly builds computers on line over and over… I think just to look at them…(lol)."
Debbie subscribes on her Kindle to PC Magazine and Technology Review. She takes the Sky Mall Magazine home with her anytime she travels; not to buy anything, "just to look at the cool gadgets." She also enjoys researching and theory and coming up with "the answer that makes sense." She loves to find a deal and her favorite websites are Amazon.com, Yugster, and of course Google.
